This long weekend was one for the books. I have to say MVMC was phenomenal. My 14 year old bully came in with a bone lodged in her esophagus. (Large bone Photo attached) … Dr Elizabeth Cope went above and beyond. She was very sympathetic about everything for our dog but also for our family. She is a true angel sent from heaven. I can’t thank her enough for her hard work and big heart. My pup is home and recovering and Alive because of things she made possible for us. I will be forever grateful and for not just her but everyone we encountered there were so kind and clearly passionate about their job.

Excellent. Caring. Knowledgeable. Professional. Efficient. Dr. Cory (Opthalmology) and her vet tech are consistently superb every year. What I appreciated most is the genuine caring for both companions and their humans.

We had to bring our dog Dale to MVMC for an abdominal xray at the suggestion of our regular vet as they were closed and he needed to be seen for repeated vomiting. We were there for a few hours, however, this was understandable since they triage all patients. In some ways, we were lucky that we had to wait because this meant that his condition was stable. I felt as though my pet had the best care that he needed in the moment. Dr. Kate Sawyer was so helpful, and the vet assistant (I think her name was Charlotte) was also great! It was actually very reassuring to see our dog be so loving with someone other than people he's known for a long time! It makes me think that he might be able to be slowly introduced to some new people this summer! What I appreciated most is how understanding the staff was of our reactive dog and his needs, especially by letting us have a room where we could wait with him which 100% helped to ease his stress. I am happy to say that he is doing much better and has returned to his normal happy self!

I brought my dog chance in at 7:30 pm Tonight. He had gotten tangled up with his brother and hit his head and twisted his neck to a point where he couldn’t open his left eye and he couldn’t hold his head up. When I went in, they took him from me immediately because I had called first. They brought him back to take vitals and said they would be out to talk to me. They never came back out as far as I knew my dog could’ve been having a seizure could’ve been dying. Anything could’ve been going on, but I was getting no word whatsoever. Other people came and left and they came out and spoke to each one of them after their vital signs, still never came to speak to me. After two hours of sitting there, I walked up and asked what was happening if they could check on him and let me know shortly after that a doctor came out with chance and asked for me brought me into an exam room, put my dog on the floor, and when my dog started to spin in a circle because he saw me, She said he looks fine now. I asked how the exam went. She said well let’s see picked up. My dog poked at his neck that I said he hurt looked at his left eye that was more open than before, but still not right said well take him home. I can’t look at his brain and watch him for the next 48 hours. You can always bring him back. There will be no extra charge. So I waited for two hours with no word as to how my dog that I rushed into this place was doing, but then she never even examined him until after. I acted concerned because she said he seems just fine now. I have never been more disappointed and I still don’t know if my dog is OK. I will never go back there again. I will drive to New Hampshire first! And I recommend nobody else goes there either.

Excellent care. Very reasonable cost. This was not my first visit to mvmc. I just expected it was going to be a good visit. Everyone was welcoming took their time with me going over findings options. This is my choice place to go for specialized care.
